I was wondering whether the cruelty-free status of the brand Mielle (skin care and hair care), could be confirmed? Their products are wonderful and the packaging and website says cruelty-free but it would be nice to get more details on that in terms of suppliers and whether they are sold in China, etc. They are sold in Target, Sally’s Beauty Supply, Bed Bath & Beyond, Walmart, and a bunch of other places.
Also, the Curlsmith (hair care) line has pretty nice products and according to their website they are cruelty-free/PETA certified:
“We believe in DIRTY HANDS and CLEAN BUSINESS
Curlsmith has a fair and transparent supply chain, sourcing our rare ingredients from the most remote parts of the world, closely co-operating with and supporting local communities. We are proud to shake the hands which harvest our raw ingredients.
We use only the best clean ingredients, with no Sulphates, Parabens, Silicones, Mineral Oils, Phthalates, DEA’s. Curlsmith is certified by The Vegan Society and PETA. Our products are tested on friends and family, but never on animals.”
So Curlsmith may be a good candidate for the CFK Cruelty-Free list (at your discretion, of course!)
Thanks and take care! 🙂
